JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist (2 days/ week) to join our growing periodontal team and provide excellent care to our patients! Our current long-time hygienist is retiring.
The hygienist will have a full hour with each patient and correspond through Dentrix with our referring dentists. Assistants are available to help with perio charting and to take x-rays.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of hygiene experience
- Confidence in skilled use of Cavitron/ hand instruments and local anesthetic
- Excellent pain management skills
- Ability to learn from others
- Availability 2 days/ week (Th, Fri preferred but some flexibility available)
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
- Examine patients' teeth and gums for signs of disease.
- Maintain patient records and charts. Perio chart at each visit.
- Reports to referring doctors regarding treatment provided
- Manage hygiene inventory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week

Experience:
- dental hygiene: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
