This important position is the Doctors right hand and must be able to demonstrate outstanding clinical, chairside manners, time management, making the patient feel comfortable while being productive.  Help fellow team members when needed

Responsibilities

A hygienist is responsible for their schedule making sure they run on time and are productive. They maintain their rooms clean, stocked, and organized. Working with doctor to care for the patient’s oral health and proper patient education. Must make sure the patient is comfortable at all times assuring patient comfort while providing outstanding treatment.

Take xrays

Perio chart

Prophylaxis, perio maintenance, SRPs

Laser, arestin, irrigation

Maintain hygiene room stocked and clean following strict Osha standards at all times

Sterilize instruments

turn over rooms 

vacume lines
