Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

Responsibilities

• Daily Preparation: Ensure computers and treatment rooms are ready for the day, fill water bottles, and participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Patient Support: Assist with seating patients, preparing rooms for treatments, and documenting all procedures.
• Room & Equipment Maintenance: Keep sterile areas organized, maintain stock and cleanliness of treatment rooms, and sterilize instruments.
• Procedural Assistance: Help with perio charting, X-rays, intraoral photos, and scanning patients for treatments like Invisalign.
• Communication & Coordination: Work closely with hygienists and the front office to ensure smooth patient flow, and reinforce dentist recommendations.
• Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor and reorder supplies as needed, share maintenance duties, and coordinate the recall system.
• Documentation: Update health history, chart procedural details, and ensure all services are correctly listed before patient checkout.
• Other Duties: Perform routine work independently and assist with schedule monitoring and appointment confirmations.
