Responsibilities

• Performing professional dental cleanings (removing plaque and tartar), taking dental xrays, assessing patients oral health, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and home care, demonstrating proper brushing and flossing instructions, applying fluoride and sealants, taking intra oral pictures, charting patients conditions, findings and treatment provided. Performing oral cancer screenings, reviewing medical history, assessing periodontal health,recording periodontal charting, performing scaling and root planing, administer local anesthetic. Communicating with the dentist reguarding the patients needs.
