Registered Dental Assistant/ Registered Dental Assistant Expanded Function needed in our dental office

Our outstanding dental practice/ Torrance Dental SPA is seeking an exceptional RDA/RDAEF for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Schedule:

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Take accurate dental impressions and temporize teeth as needed.
• Assist with a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, whitening and extractions.
• Provide patient education and ensure a comfortable experience.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Prepare and set up treatment rooms for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during exams and treatments.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• RDAEF duties may include fabricating temporary crowns, and performing advanced restorative procedures as per licensure.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF).
• Previous experience in dental assisting, especially in taking impressions and temporizing teeth, is required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of dental software and office procedures a plus
