Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate dental records and update patient information as necessary.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions, X-rays, and assisting with imaging.
Manage appointment scheduling and provide support as a dental receptionist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Experience

Previous experience is required.
Familiarity with dental terminology, coding and systems related to a dental office is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere are crucial for success in this role.
