Oral Surgery Assistant - Dental Experience Required - Casas Adobes Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Tucson, AZ

Casas Adobes Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a skilled, full-time Oral Surgery Assistant to join our Northwest location. This position requires open availability Monday through Friday. Oral surgery experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dependable, and committed to providing the highest level of patient care in a safe and efficient environment. Dental Assistant Responsibilities This role includes a variety of oral surgery assistant duties, including but not limited to: Assisting during in-office surgical procedures Patient management, including greeting and escorting patients, reviewing chart information, taking vital signs and clinical information, providing patient education, and assisting with discharge Acting as an anesthesia assistant, including airway support and monitoring Taking radiographs (PA’s, Panorex, CBCT) Making pre-operative and post-operative phone calls Instrument sterilization, maintenance, and tray setup Understanding and operating medical gases Monitoring and managing surgical supply inventory Qualifications Caring, compassionate, and patient-focused Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills BLS/CPR certification (can be provided if needed) DAANCE certification (pay raise and bonus upon completion) Benefits (Full-time employees only unless otherwise noted) 401(k) and additional retirement plans Health, dental, and vision insurance Uniform allowance (included for part-time and per diem employees) Paid time off Merit-based bonus pay Paid on-the-job training and certification training (included for part-time and per diem employees) Pay raises for certain certifications (included for part-time and per diem employees) If you are looking to grow your career in a supportive, team-oriented oral surgery practice, we would love to hear from you.
