OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. This role involves working closely with pediatric patients, performing assessments, and implementing infection control protocols to maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to promote oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a child-friendly atmosphere.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with clinic policies.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and support during procedures.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in dental hygiene.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or pediatric dentistry.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
