Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, including sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper storage.
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions or fabricating temporary crowns.
Monitor vital signs as needed during patient visits.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant .
Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in the context of general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
Experience with dental software systems such as Epic is a plus.
Knowledge of 3D scanning technology and prosthodontics is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate patient care.

Pay: $18.03 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
