Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office

Registered Dental Hygienist.

Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral images - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral health conditions - Proficiency in using dental software systems - Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures - Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
