Dental Assistant - Village Dental Clinic - Skillman, NJ

Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care.
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist- Develop dental x-rays- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required
