Job Type: Full-time (36 hours per week)
Mon – Thurs 7am – 5pm
Salary: Commensurate with experience and credentials (EFDA vs RDA)
We are currently seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team.
As an EFDA or RDA, you will be responsible for performing advanced dental procedures (EFDA), assisting the dentists with restorative procedures, performing dental radiography, and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
· Perform advanced dental procedures, including placing fillings (EFDA), taking impressions, and making temporary crowns
· Assist the dentist with restorative procedures, including crowns, bridges, and implants
· Take and develop dental radiographs
· Educate patients on postoperative care
· Maintain accurate patient records and charting
· Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies
· Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
· Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Completion of an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program or Registered Dental Assistant program
· Active EFDA certification or active license as a Registered Dental Assistant in Tennessee
· Current certification in Dental Radiography
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Proficiency in dental software applications
