Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and help address patient questions/concerns.
• Provide skilled assistance to dentists or dental hygienists chairside during exams and treatments.
• Prepare tools, materials and equipment needed for each procedure and break down operatories after patients, including sterilization and proper disposal of materials.
• Educate patients on pre-treatment instructions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
• Accurately record and update patient health and treatment information in electronic dental records.
• Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and handling patient inquiries as needed.
• Maintains operatory supplies, inventory control and handles re-ordering

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience
• Certification as a Dental Assistant ( RDA not required)
• Dental X-Ray certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• OSHA certification
• Coronal polishing (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong work ethic
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care

Schedule:

• 8 hour day shift
• Monday to Friday
