Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and help address patient questions/concerns.
- Provide skilled assistance to dentists or dental hygienists chairside during exams and treatments.
- Prepare tools, materials and equipment needed for each procedure and break down operatories after patients, including sterilization and proper disposal of materials.
- Educate patients on pre-treatment instructions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Accurately record and update patient health and treatment information in electronic dental records.
- Assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, and handling patient inquiries as needed.
- Maintains operatory supplies, inventory control and handles re-ordering
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience
- Certification as a Dental Assistant ( RDA not required)
- Dental X-Ray certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- OSHA certification
- Coronal polishing (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong work ethic
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care
Schedule:
- 8 hour day shift
- Monday to Friday
