Dental Assistant - Essex Family Dental - Essex Junction, VT

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in either a part time or full time capacity. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Perform 3D scanning of teeth- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked operatory
Experience- Prior experience in dental assisting required- Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus but not required- Understanding of anatomy and vital signs- Proficiency in using a 3D scanner for dental procedures- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance- Strong assisting skills and willingness to learn new techniques
-Experience with removables (prosthetics) a plus but not required
We are offering a $1000 hiring bonus for full time candidates

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
