Receptionist, Scheduler
Elegante Dental Care, PLLC is a rapidly growing, Corpus Christi, TX based dental practice that is looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is energetic, loves to smile, and has a friendly personality.
The expected candidate
o is well organized and can multi-task and manage our schedule efficiently.
o has experience with dental software and can help the insurance verification process.
o is self- motivated, hard-working individuals who care about the quality of their work, and
o have an upbeat, team approach with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
o One-year dental receptionist is preferred. This position will require you to answer phones, check in patients, take payments, schedule appointments, and keep the office running smoothly.
Main responsibilities include and extending but are not limited to:

Deliver exceptional service in a timely, professional manner, to attract and develop lasting patient relationships.
Make outbound sales calls in a professional, effective, and proficient manner with the confidence to “schedule a consultation.

PHONE management
1. Schedule patient appointments.2. Greet warmly patients on phone and in person3. Answer and manage incoming phone calls with multiple lines4. Make reminder calls for upcoming appointments5. Schedule 15-20 appointments per Dentist a day6. Work with multiple Dentist per day7. Meet production goal.
Insurance
1. Verify Medicare/Medicaid /PPO insurance
2. Used online insurance portal to verify insurance
3. Check eligibility 1 2 3 4 on insurance portal full break down
4. Print out eligibility with treating doctor name and reference number for each patient
5. Making recall phone calls to help fill the schedule
6. Check Medicaid assignments
RECORD
1 * Register new patients according to established office protocols.2 * Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.3 * Verify and update patient information.4 * Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy.5 * Move patients through appointments as scheduled.6 * Enter all relevant patient information into data system.7 * Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations.8 * Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol.9 * Check daily appointment schedule.10. Occasionally check in new and returning patients11 * Arrange patient charts for next day appointments12 * Fill in cancellations and no-shows.
MISC
Promote* Contact Doctors’ offices to check on medical clearance.
* Collect and receive payments from patients at time of treatment.* Inform patients of financial treatment plan options.* Arrange payment schedule with patients.
* Dispatch lab works appropriately.* Occasionally assist in check in with oral surgery
* Cross training in Scheduling, Marketing, Tx presentation, the back office and management.
* End of the day general clean up
