Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Modest Dentistry - Scottsdale, AZ

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs measurement- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking and developing dental x-rays- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection- Provide assistance with medical coding and billing as needed
Qualifications:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficient in medical terminology and dental office systems- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique- Excellent patient assessment skills- Familiarity with dental assisting duties is a plus- Understanding of anatomy and oral health conditions- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
