Schedule:Monday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM (off every other Monday)Tuesday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PMWednesday: 10:40 AM – 7:00 PMThursday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PMFriday: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM (off every other Friday)

Responsibilities:The following dental hygiene assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:

Distributes and collects completed documentation from patient including medical history.
Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room.
Sterilize & maintain equipment & instruments.
Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHA
Greets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.
Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance duties.
Reviews medical history and inputs into CPS. Asks initial consult questions from patient, records information and takes intra-oral pictures for doctor. Fills out exam notes as dictated by doctor.
Ability to take clinically appropriate xrays.
Obtain and review needed consent for patient treatment.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Completion of Dental Assisting Program preferred

The base hourly range for this position is $20 - $23 per hour. In addition to base compensation for the role, an employee may qualify for variable compensation that includes [a production incentive] an annual [or quarterly bonus] tied to performance]. Pay is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, work experience, and certifications.
