We are looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice on either a part-time or full-time basis.
Job Summary:The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will collaborate with our team of specialists to deliver comprehensive care, promote optimal oral health, and educate patients on proper hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform professional cleanings (scaling and polishing) of teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Assess patients' oral health and provide feedback to the dentist for treatment planning.
Apply preventive materials, such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, diet, and other preventative care techniques.
Assist in maintaining patient records and charting.
Work closely with dentists and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Provide support during specialized procedures when required.
Stay current with new developments in dental hygiene practices and techniques.

Requirements:

Dental Hygienist certification and valid state licensure.
Experience in a specialized dental practice is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and build rapport with patients.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
Familiarity with dental software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with advanced periodontal care, pediatric dentistry, or orthodontics is a plus.
Knowledge of the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
