Job Responsibilities: Our well-established and growing practice of general dentistry in East Providence is looking for an INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly personality and be a team player with the desire to learn and grow with our incredible dental practice.

The perfect candidate will be a self-starter, reliable, detail oriented, has a strong knowledge of dental insurance, good communication skills, and has a comprehensive understanding of dental insurance verification.
This is a part-time position Monday-Friday 21-24 hours maximum (Negotiable due to part time hours) Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are our busiest days and the preferred working days if possible.
Dental office experience specifically Dentrix knowledge is preferred. Candidates must have computer skills, be familiar with dental terminology, understand patient specific insurance details such as; eligibility and benefits, frequencies, maximums, deductibles, and waiting periods. This is primarily an insurance verification position. The candidate will also be required to schedule appointments, maintain flow of incoming and outgoing calls to patients and insurance companies. The candidate must be open to being trained as back up to the front desk with check in and check out procedures and will be required to work up front to cover for breaks and vacations.
