We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Personal Care Family Dentistry. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort during their visits. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting with various dental procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in the office.
Utilize digital imaging technology to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to enhance patient experience.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work well with pediatric patients is a plus.
