Dental Hygienist - Beverly Dental Care - Beverly, MA

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through effective hygiene practices. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient care, and compliance with health regulations.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric and general dentistry.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Dentrix software for efficient patient management and documentation.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and patient comfort.
Perform assessments of oral health conditions, including periodontal assessments and cavity detection.
Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry.
Familiarity with documentation review practices and maintaining medical records.
Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
