Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify any potential issues.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix software, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in the administration of medical imaging procedures as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

ExperienceCandidates should have a valid dental hygiene license and experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with systems related to general dentistry, infection control protocols, anatomy knowledge, and medical records management is essential. Proficiency in using Dentrix software and experience with medical imaging techniques will be considered an asset. A passion for patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development are highly valued in this role.

Pay: $46.02 - $48.48 per hour
