OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall health and well-being of our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments and progress.
Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Measure and record vital signs to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow in the office.
Provide care for pediatric patients with an understanding of their unique needs.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental systems, and medical imaging techniques.
Familiarity with dental office procedures and patient care protocols.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience with assisting in various dental procedures is a plus.
