Dental Patient Services Representative - Smiles for Life - Raleigh, NC

We are seeking a friendly and responsible receptionist for our growing, newly renovated general dental office in Concord. Dental experience highly preferred, but not mandatory. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, diligence, and kindness. Our office hours are Monday 8-6, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesdays 8-5, Thursdays 8-6, Friday 8-2. Flexible hours or part time could be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently; with filling the schedule a priority.
Maintain accurate patient records and handle medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Utilize dental software systems to update patient information and manage office tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries promptly.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations and patient flow.
Check Insurance benefits and input into system.

Qualifications (preferred)

Dental office experience
Strong medical administrative support skills
Dentrix proficiency a plus
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Excellent patient service and customer service abilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
Experience with medical records and clerical tasks

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
