Dental Assistant - Pearl Dentistry - Bridgeville, PA

We are offering a $500 signing bonus to the successful candidate.
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
This signing bonus of $500 will be paid in full after 90 employee worked days, provided the employee remains employed with the company for at least 12 consecutive months. If the employee voluntarily leaves within that period, they will be required to repay the full bonus amount.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Take X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out processes, and assist with billing inquiries.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.
Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and office protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; however, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical coding, prosthodontics, pediatrics, vital signs, and medical terminology is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
