Job description
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist with patient care, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office, and providing exceptional service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
A few responsibilities would include:

Assisting doctor with a variety of treatment procedures
Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment
Prepare patient for surgical treatment and sedation anesthesia, intravenous sedation
Transferring surgical instruments and prepare surgical dressings
Effectively communicate pre- and post-operative care instructions
Collection and recording of patient health history
Accurately recording dental records to completely reflect the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided
Learn and develop the skills needed to create dental hardware directly within the office using the very latest technology.
Taking digital x-rays
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Experience:

Dental Assistant: Minimum of 1 year
CDA/RDA License (Preferred)
Local and IV Sedation Certification (Preferred)
Experience in Dentrix (Preferred but will train the right candidate)
