Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
• Take and document vital signs to monitor patient health.
• Review and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to provide effective patient care.
• Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, adapting techniques to meet their needs.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred
• Familiarity with medical records systems and documentation review processes is advantageous.
• Laser certification is preferred, incentives offered.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques will be beneficial for this role.
