Dental Hygienist (RDH) Position -- Westwood, 90025

Our private general dentistry practice is seeking a part-time hygienist to join our team on Wednesdays. We value reliability, expertise, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Our boutique practice is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. Standard hygiene appointments are 60 minutes, with an hour allocated for each quad SRP.

Hygiene Responsibilities:

• Performing prophy, perio maintenance, SRP, laser therapy, and fluoride treatments
• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices
• Reviewing medical histories and assessing patients' oral health
• Co-diagnosing areas of possible decay and compromised restorations, working alongside the dentist to manage patient care
• Documenting patients' recommended care and treatment plans
• Taking digital x-rays
• Taking intraoral photos to aid patient education
• Conducting Itero scanning (training provided)
