Dental Hygienist - Boudreau Family Dental - Charlton, MA

Job OverviewOur private general dentistry practice has been a trusted provider in South Natick for over 30 years, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to preventive care and patient education.
As a dental hygienist with our practice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the oral health of our approximately 1500 active patients. In collaboration with our dedicated single-doctor team, which includes one dentist, two dental assistants, and two hygienists, you will help create a welcoming and safe environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings, applying aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system, including Curve PMS.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient discharge.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience with dental coding is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in using Curve Dental or similar dental software is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
