Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Schedule

3 days a week, Mondays & Wednesday 7am-5pm with 1-hr lunch and Fridays 8am-2pm
Double Column with a hygiene assistant

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patient oral health.
Document patient medical records accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality radiographs as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation to ensure accurate patient information is maintained within the systems.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dental practices.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a professional demeanor.
