Our goals are to build trust, create raving fans, and work to live. We give our assistant the proper time, skills, and equipment to provide the optimal level of care for patients and create a WOW experience. We work to develop the team every week in order to gain a better practice and life!
We do a lot of restorative, surgery, implants, dentures, endo, and pedo. We do not do ortho at this time.
Duties

Represent our office positively throughout this encounter and work to create a comfortable and relaxed, yet professional and competent feel to the front office.
Assist the team in exceeding the patient’s expectations of our caring dental team.
Assist the doctor during procedures of all kinds utilizing aseptic technique
Utilize expanded functions under direct supervision
Capture radiographs, both intraoral and extraoral, as well as intraoral photos
Perform infection control procedures in accordance with the IC program
Accurately use patient dental software to accomplish notes, charting, treatment planning, and all other administrative and clinical functions of patients’ accounts
Manage assigned treatment room cleanliness and organization as well as entire office
Work with the doctor to improve efficiency of clinical care through two-way communication and training
Ensure lab cases are shipped and received on time
Verify that clinical restorative notes are completed appropriately
Update patient's medical histories, record blood pressure, uncover any new conditions, etc.
Assist in scheduling restorative patients to fill appropriate time slots
Other responsibilities assigned to promote the vision and mission of the office

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary
Current EFDA certifications in fixed and removable required or having a current CDA with the desire to gain EFDA certifications
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with a dental software systems is advantageous, especially Curve Hero
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols and 4-handed dentistry.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
