Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented dental hygienist to join our well established pediatric dental practice. Dedicated assistants are provided to obtain x-rays and sterilize so our hygienists can focus on providing high quality care to each individual patient. Duties

Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
Perform routine cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatments
Educate children and their parent's on oral health habits and proper dental care
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Practice works software for patient management and record-keeping.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients as needed.

ExperienceThe successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and understanding of dental terminology.
Experience working in a dental office environment, familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Ability to make children feel at ease during dental procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and parents about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
