Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a strong foundation in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology, knowledge of anatomy, and experience with dental software such as Open Dental. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Ability to conduct a variety of dental procedures (or willingness to learn), including but not limited to: crown & bridge, restorative, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, sedation, and implants.
Provide preventive care and education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Address pediatric patients' needs with compassion and expertise, ensuring a positive experience for young patients.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices.
Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry, including oral surgery techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
