Job Summary
Now seeking a part-time dental assistant!If you are looking for a new career in the dental field that is fun, exciting, and uses the latest advancements and technology in dental, look no further! The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize equipment, take X-rays, and manage patient records. Additional responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work well in a team. Experience in dental assisting and knowledge of dental procedures and tools is preferred. CPR certification and an X-ray certification are a plus.
Work schedule will be Monday-Wednesday, with the potential to work some Thursdays.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform sterilization of dental instruments and maintain cleanliness of the clinical area.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in using dental software systems.
Experience with 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
