Dr. Jeff Rouse and Dr. Lisa Rouse are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist in the Alamo Heights/Quarry area for our elite, well established, multi-disciplinary Prosthodontic and General practice.
7:30-5:00, Monday- Thursday
Candidate must have superior customer service skills and be ready to join a high achieving team. We are seeking a reliable self-starter with high initiative, ability to work independently, competent decision-making, and an openness to learn a new method of comprehensive dentistry. Candidate must be personable and team-oriented. Computer software experience preferred, but not required. Must be willing and ready to learn, with a focus on inter-team communication and patient education.
Tasks include but may not be limited to:
- Routine hygiene services and periodontal maintenance.
- Implant maintenance to include overdentures and hybrids.
- Ability to evaluate airway and need for myofunctional therapy
- Take digital x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatory
- Obtain patients' dental records
- Maintain patient comfort
- Sequence treatment plans
- Communicate with front office staff regarding treatment completed and treatment needed
- Emphasize patient education Applicant requirements:
- 3+ hygiene experience
- Radiology license
- CPR/BLS certified
- Registered Dental Hygienist within the state of Texas Compensation and benefit package depending on knowledge and experience.
