Dental Hygienist - RiverPark Family Dental - Wausau, WI

Our family practice has an immediate opening for a full time and/or part time registered dental hygienist. RiverPark is an independently owned and operated true private practice, dedicated to providing exceptional oral healthcare in a clean, comfortable, low pressure environment.
A successful preventative and recall program is a cornerstone to patient care, and we look forward to adding the right member to our incredible team. Of We are looking for a personable, reliable, and skilled clinician to care for our existing patients, and welcome new ones.
Office hours are 8-5 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and 9-6 on Thursdays. Qualified candidates will see approximately one patient per hour, with additional time allotted for new patients.
Candidates will be expected to:

Have a valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Demonstrate knowledge of general dentistry terminology, practices, and procedures.
Asess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
Take radiographs and intraoral photos as needed.
Perform dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Demonstrate proficiency in topical and local anesthetic administration.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records.
Assist in the management of patient appointments and follow-ups.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Compensation will be competitive. At least 1 year experience is preferred, but not mandatory. New grads encouraged to apply! Dentrix experience is a bonus. Uniforms are provided, holidays are paid. Paid vacation and 401k match are also available.
