Permanent Dental Assistant Job in First Class Pediatric Dentistry

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical records- Assist with medical documentation, including maintaining accurate patient charts and records- Utilize CAD software for designing dental restorations
Requirements:- Dental assistant certification or relevant experience- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques- Familiarity with dental coding and billing procedures- Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar electronic dental record systems- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
