Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our dental office and providing exceptional patient care.
**Proficiency in DENTRIX software is preferred**
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Verify patient insurance information and handle insurance claims processing.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Utilize dental office management software (e.g., Athenahealth, Meditech) for efficient operations.
Skills
Proficiency in insurance verification processes.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
Experience in medical or dental office management preferred.
Familiarity with systems such as Athenahealth or Meditech is a plus.
Excellent clerical skills, including data entry and record keeping.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in a friendly manner.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
