OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Assess and document patient medical histories and oral health conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to patient visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role within a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and patient care practices is essential.
Experience with documentation review processes and maintaining medical records is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is considered an asset.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix will be beneficial.
