Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Morehead, KY

The Dental Hygienist assesses patient needs, plans, and delivers direct dental care and associated services to patients as allowed under the Kentucky Dental Practice Act and the general supervision of the Dentist in a primary care setting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Stays current and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Provides effective patient education to maintain good oral hygiene for all patients involved in research studies.
Takes initiative to learn clinical research protocols.
Manages all research data associated with the dental research programs participated in by St. Claire.
Education: Associate degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
Experience: As required for certification/licensure by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry Two years of experience with a minimum of three thousand (3,000) hours of dental hygiene practice experience required
Licensure/Certification: Current KY Dental Hygienist license required BLS certification required within 90 days of hire date
Location: UK St. Claire · Dental Schedule: Full Time, Days, Mon-Fri 0800-1700
