**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental office team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral health care to our patients, while working collaboratively with our dentists and other healthcare professionals. **Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Use medical imaging equipment to diagnose and treat oral health issues
- Prepare patients for dental procedures, including administering anesthesia and taking vital signs
- Assist dentists with various dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques and offer guidance on proper dental care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using medical coding and documentation systems
- Utilize medical terminology and dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to deliver exceptional care
- Ensure the dental office is clean and organized, adhering to infection control protocols
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
**Experience:**
We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist with a strong background in providing patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with experience in a dental office environment. Experience with Eaglesoft is also a plus.
