Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. A strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed
Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management and scheduling

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health
Proficiency in documentation review to ensure accuracy in patient records
Expertise in aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education
Ability to perform thorough patient assessments effectively
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not required
Experience in assisting during dental procedures is a plus
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical coding relevant to dental practices
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous
