Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to maintain aseptic techniques.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict aseptic protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Manage patient appointments and maintain organized patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Provide excellent patient care by addressing concerns and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing billing inquiries when necessary.

ExperienceCandidates should possess a background in dental assisting or related fields. Preferred qualifications include:

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
Knowledge of medical coding related to dental services is a plus.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Understanding of prosthodontics is beneficial but not mandatory.
