Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, and providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with Oral Surgical Procedures
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize dental software systems, including Denticon , for scheduling and record management.
Monitor vital signs as necessary during procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of medical coding is a plus.
Familiarity with 3D scanners and medical imaging technology is advantageous.
Proficient in infection control practices and aseptic technique.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 38 per week
