Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic located in the heart of Zephyrhills ( 25-30 mins from Tampa city). The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental practices and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and fabrications.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic health record systems like Epic.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
