The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix.
Assist in the management of dental office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental office management systems.
Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and dental assisting practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring as part of patient care protocols.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing medical records.
