Bilingual Dental Receptionist - Believe Dental - Houston, TX

We are seeking a Patient Scheduler to work in our two Houston practices (Central Houston and North Houston), to help us communicate with our patients and their families, verify insurance, develop and communicate treatment plans, and help with all administrative aspects of our practice.
The ideal candidate has a passion for serving the special needs population, and experience working in other dental practices. Key characteristics include Spanish fluency, high personal motivation, strong teamwork orientation, **Dental experience**, and excellent communication skills. Above all, we need candidates with a passion for our community, who will demonstrate the initiative to go above and beyond in order to help create great experiences for our patients.
Responsibilities:

Communicate with patients and their caregivers prior to, during, and after their visits
Coordinate with clinical team to ensure a warm, caring patient experience
Learn the administrative processes in coordination with our other team members, to be able to schedule patients and manage patient records

Requirements:

Experience in dentistry - terminology, treatment plans, Medicaid plans
Experience with anesthesia and sedation dentistry is a big plus
Spanish fluency - both conversational and medical terminology
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Strong personal motivation and accountability

Job Physical Requirements:

Standing and moving for up to 8 hours a day
