Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations efficiently.
Conduct insurance verification to ensure patient eligibility and coverage.
Assist with medical coding and documentation review to maintain accurate patient records.
Utilize systems such as Epic and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.

Skills

Proficient in insurance verification processes and medical office protocols.
Experience with medical coding is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic and Dentrix.
Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in documentation review.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
