Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Brentwood, TN
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled TN Registered Dental Assistant with radiology and CPR certification to join our team. Pay is determined by experience. Days needed: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Surgical experience required. Dental implant focused practice with rewarding full mouth restoration cases. Duties Create and present patient treatment plans, clearly explaining procedures, timelines, and available payment or financing options. Monitor inventory levels and review, order, and restock supplies as needed. Coordinate sedation with the anesthesia company to confirm availability for scheduled surgery dates. Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials. Assist the doctor during long and complex surgeries. Anticipate the doctorâs needs to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during procedures, with knowledge of 4-handed dentistry being a valuable asset. Manage patient records, ensuring that all medical records are accurately maintained and compliant with HIPAA regulations. Monitor and record vital signs of patients to ensure their safety during procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, pre and post-treatment care. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostics as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical records management. Experience preferred but open to training in X-rays, CBCT scans, dental records, and digital scanning. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members. Ability to adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
