OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation while providing exceptional service to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services, insurance, and appointment availability.
Process patient payments and verify insurance coverage.
Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing patient flow.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and record management.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures to effectively communicate with patients.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures, including prosthodontics.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and vital signs is beneficial.
Experience with medical coding is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
